I'd say it looks likequite the rainy day! What happened to the tree;
did it get struck by lightning?

Believe or not this was about a month ago, and it was actually snowing at first. I did wonder about the dead tree myself, not sure but it could have been hit by lightening.

Re: I'd say it looks likeLarry, to answer your question about the dead tree more accurately. Come to think of it, I don't remember burn marks on the bark of the tree. So I think the reason for the demise must have been something else. Marc
