One careful, exposed move is required to safely access easier terrain above. It's about 2,000 feet down to Running Crane Lake, so Summitpost member ManyGlacierMountaineer needs to be extra safe here! After climbing out of the notch, the summit is only minutes away. July 23, 2011

This is from the notch that we gained before accessing the main summit block. Sean ventured towards the drop off a bit and, hence the photo makes this spot look worse than it really is.
