Redrock Peak

Redrock Peak

Redrock Peak received its name from the red rock formations above the canyon. The soil in much of the area was also red. I saw a lot of interesting fossils and shells in the rock while climbing up the peak

Red rocks happen to be

my favorite. You didn't happen to see a rather
rotund figure of a beaded fellow wearing a
red suit and carrying a very large bag while
hiking in that area, did you ??? : )

Have a very wonderful Holiday Season, Melinda!

Re: Red rocks happen to be

I saw a lot of rotund hunters in that area but they were wearing orange and not red. Santa must have been farther up north at the time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Larry!
