About...
This is a collection of photos taken during a trip to Retezat Mountains, between 13-17 June, 2008. This time of the year is the blooming period of the beautiful alpine plant Rhododendron kotschyi. The snow patches that give a nice pattern to the scenery last until July, gradually disappearing as the summer heat melts them.
