I understand Mt. Olympus has huge glaciers for a peak just under 8,000' due to the coastal storms. Great view and you had awesome weather!
Next stop Mt. Waddington? hehe Posted Jul 9, 2011 12:04 pm

That's correct. It's located in the rainiest part of our rainy state. And I'm although I'm not ready for the likes of Waddington, I am leaving today for another long expedition climb. Posted Jul 9, 2011 1:02 pm

Mt. Olympus receives more than 220 inches of
rainfall annually.
Its "West" summit remained virgin until 1907.
I wonder if a rolling stone in the Olympics
could possibly grow moss on it. Hmmm .. Posted Jul 10, 2011 12:42 am

Isn't it funny how some people appear to be
ALWAYS lucky, and others are on the edge of
buying the farm ???

Farm living is the life for me ...!"
Life is good ..
