I did the traverse on a fine November day with a friend. We had to make our track on the ridge through the fresh autumn snow, quite an adventure. Met only one hiker throughout the traverse, he was glad to have a track.
Great traverse, would like to do it again.
Did this when I was seven with my dad. We came from the Wimbachgrieshutte and then up and over Sudspitze, Mittelspitze, and Hocheck so I guess according the route we did the reverse. I don't remember too much except that the Sudspitze was a great veiw and that it dropped basically straight off and down into the Bertchesgadenerweg. Did not get a chance to do the traverse on my last tour in Germany unfortunately.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
