If you've ever wondered how easy it is to cross the Rio Grande illegally from Mexico to the United States, here's your answer. There were fresh barefoot prints on the US side here, coming out of the river. Clearly it's easy to wade it here, using the gravel bars and shallows.
The INS says they prosecute strongly all cases of US citizens crossing over and back for thrills.
