Re: Yes, butEjnar and Vid :
I only have "hearsay" on my side of the Pond.
Maybe we need to reenlist "James Bond" or
Sherlock Holmes to look into this ???
How 'bout the Pink Panther? The Pink Panther
could most certainly solve this mystery.

Re: Yes, butThe Pink Panther! :D
"Tadam, tadam...2...3...4, tadam Badam, badam, badam-badam-badam-badam-badiiiii...." :D
Mancini was great! :-)
Anche a me, Roberto mi manca...era un buon amico...
Thanks so much, Larry, for your lovely post!
I've been thinking...and I think it's possible that the reasons for Roberto having left SummitPost might probably have nothing to do with SummitPost as such, and he might have very good reasons not to want to tell us why. I think the best and most sensible thing we can do is simply be patient and leave it up to him, if he wants to tell us or not why he left.

Re: Yes, butBut Eric .... we are his friends !
This is one reason I don't dabble in Facebook
or Tweeter. I have enough problems without
displaying my "dirty laundry" for all to see.
I'm assuming it had something to do with his
wife. Seemed she was particularly UPSET
when he spent too much time on the keyboard.
Spouses can be overbearing. Maybe Roberto
just needed some "time out" to gather his
thoughts, and you're CORRECT in saying he
could (possibly) return one of these days ..
I don't buy the notion that he simply LEFT
because somebody decided to replay a stupid
joke on SP ... that makes zero sense !!!

Re: Yes, butYes, I've been coming to that conclusion as well...whatever I said in the forums, I always put a big MAYBE in front of it, 'cause I really meant maybe...It might have also been entirely wrong to assume that it was some silly prank that made him leave.
Maybe it had to do with his wife, could be...or something else of a private nature.
Anyway - it's up to him now to come forth with it. I'm sure he knows too - that we are all his friends!
Cheers, Larry,
Eric

Re: Yes, but"MAYBE" is a very good word, Eric.
I was once told not to ASSume, because it makes
an ASS out of you and me.
And, Sir Paul McCartney was also correct when
he sang .......
MAYBE I'M AMAZED !

Re: Roberto mi manca ...Thanks, Foster!
Was hoping it would bring back Roberto, but
no dice ...
oh well ... if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd
have no luck at all.
