Rochefort Ridge

Rochefort Ridge

This was one of the most beautiful routes I've ever done! The views were incredible and the best part was that we did not meet any other climbers coming the other way...not quite sure how that would have worked (yes, I fussed about that!).

I can only imagine...

the great adventure that this must have been! I also see the foot prints on top of that cornice. I'm sure you walked across it pretty fast. I also see the snow covered knife edge higher up before the rocks. You have the best mountain photos Sylva.

Happy climbing,
Marc

Hi Marc!
Thanks very much! Yes, it was a great climb, the kind you remember when you are stuck in a long meeting back at the office. I hope you are keeping well,
Sylva

Memorable!

I look at those footsteps creeping over the top of the already-cracked cornice and can't help but think you guys are either totally awesome or totally nerveless - or maybe a measure of both. This is a very memorable photo!

Re: Memorable!

Ok, I did not see the size of that crack until I got home and looked closely at the pic! So, not really awesome or nerveless, more like oblivious :-)
