Ah yeah, I saw that too. One of my mates checked the inscription on it, said that it was something about a man and his daughter who died in the same year, but I don't know the exact story.. (and I didn't take a photo of it) Apparently it's Wallis Alan Scaife, who owned Glendhu station for fifty years (!), and chose Roys' slopes as his final resting place. Curious about the daughter though...
Anyway, would be cool if you could add something about this. I also still want to add something about the tussock grasslands, they were so striking (to me at least) and there are so many varieties, varying with altitude.
Cheers and thanks for the vote! Now I'm going to do some cycling.. The weather is too nice to be sitting behind the computer all day! (I checked the Albert Park circuit btw, it was cool, nice road, I reckon I put down a decent lap time)
Thank you for you vote! You have some GREAT mountain pages too. I definitely have to have a look at them, but they're so large that I really need to sit down for it :-)
Nice page Rick! For the panorama, allow some 20-40px more in height. Otherwise we Mozilla users get a rollbar to the side and the lower part of the picture is hidden.
Hey Gangolf, thanks for the tip! Didn't know that. I've added 20px, hopefully it works. I will try to find a mozilla browser somewhere tomorrow, or you could let me know if it worked out?

Untitled CommentNice work. I have some pics somewhere. I'll dig 'em out and see if they add anything of interest. I think I have a photo of the grave on the route.
