| Winter 2010 Climbed many times, but the first was with Kelly. This was my first experience in the Two Med Area, and it began an obsession! Found a whitebark Gandalf staff near the summit and used it as a hiking pole. Little did I know it would shred my palms! Another notable summit was the Scenic Point/Mount Henry Ridge walk in summer 2012! | ||

| Lots of winds as ever. A solo attempt on Henry turned into just a Scenic Point day as the winds almost smashed me into the ground repeatedly. | ||

| First hiked this early on during my first summer at Glacier, appx. June 1, 2003. Returned on Jun 16, 2008, during my next summer of rangering, and will be hiking this for a third time next week for the first time with my wife. Can't wait! | ||

| Fun scramble to the top of the bump on the ridge. I could see all the way to the horizon in the East and I swear I could see some peaks in the Nyack rising above Two Medicine Valley. Absolutely gorgeous and windy. | ||

| I'm sure you could. Mount Phillips is most definitely visible from the top. | ||

| After going up Medicine and Henry, I met Mike and Linda Hoyt, Tim Sharp, and Leslie (forgot her last name) here for a tribute to Saintgrizzly on an extraordinarily windy day. Paused on the way down to admire what was Vernon's favorite tree. | ||

| 5-28-2011 Walked to the top of Scenic with David Schuler en route to Bison & The Head. Lots of snow & ice on Medicine. Wished we had decided to bring ice axes and crampons along! | ||

| Hiked many times, with family, friends, most memorable was the hike out from camping at No name, then with Red out to east glacier where we begged a free meal on the lawn at the hotel. | ||

| A very sunny trail with some of the biggest switchbacks known to man. My son and I returned but Uncle Dennis took the 7 mile descent back to East Glacier. | ||

| Beautiful day in Two Medicine. Scenic Point is really just a long trudge up numerous switchbacks to a high overlook. On the way back down we scrambled up Point 7643 and Point 7277 for some additional flavorings! Those two are fun, especially 7277! Summitted all three with Cougar14 and a scramblin' Kitty. | ||

| Nice easy hike all the way up. Decided to do Point 7643 and Point 7277 after doing Scenic Point. Had perfect timing so we had the summits to ourselves. What luck! One of the easiest hikes in the park. Hiked with Rebelgrizz and JFK. | ||

| April 22, 2012 - Biked from East Glacier to Running Eagle Falls Trailhead, then hiked the road to the start of the Scenic Point Trail. Surprisingly low snow levels - we only used our snowshoes for the first mile or so along the trail. Watched a grizzly sow and her cub wrestling far below the trail in Apistoki Basin. Spectacular views from the top. Continued along the surprisingly awesome trail all the way to Glacier Park Lodge. June 13, 2010 - Hiked with a group of 10 to the, um, scenic summit. Only my second hike in the Two Medicine Valley, so I was thrilled to get a new perspective on an unfamiliar area of the park. Great views of Rising Wolf and Mount Helen to the west. Trail was steep, but neverly overly strenuous in my opinion. Fantastic hike! | ||

| My wife and I hiked to the top of Scenic Point on our last day in the park after a two week backpacking trip. As a climb, it may not be challenging, but what a magnificent walk! Anyone who has stood on top and seen all the way to the Sweetgrass Hills will not doubt they had climbed a mountain. My wife insists she is not a mountaineer, but since this hike in '02 she has spent more time in the alpine zone than anyone else I know. If you want to catch the bug for climbing, this is a great place to start. Let the suffering come later. | ||
