| Great start to a trip in Yosemite; hike also included Taft Point and a drive to Glacier Point. I object to the main page, though, as I'm sure it has enough prominence to qualify as a mountain by some definitions. | |

| Climbed via the 4-mile trail with a team of ten. Visited Glacier Point first then hiked up to Sentinel Dome. A beautiful place to take in the sights. Continued down the Panoramic trail and back to base camp (Upper Pines). | |

| First trip was my first go at snow camping, and backpacking in the winter, and first time cross country skiing! Spent two nights camped halfway to Glacier Point, and went to the dome and the point on day two (January 25, 2003). Great weather but we had way too much crap with us, and the nights were so long. But definitely a great way to spend a Super Bowl weekend. Splendid time to go! Second trip was a quick hike after Illilouette Ridge and Ostrander Rocks in June 2012 straight up the southeast side. | |

| Maybe the best views in Yosemite. An easy 2 mile jaunt from Glacier Point road. Party included Zarathustraswife Lynda, daughter Alexa (18) and step-daughters Haley (8) and Heather (6). This was the first summit for Haley and Heather - who generally have to be bribed or dragged to walk a mile in the neighborhood. They were really good sports on this hike though! | |

| I'm a little embarrassed to say I'd never realized this dome was here, out of sight from the Valley. Walked to the top while in transit along the spectacular south-rim hike from Wawona Tunnel to Glacier Point and back down 4-mile trail. Big storm day, horizontal snow on the summit. Curious what routes have been put up on the attractive north face of the dome. | |

| Wow.. There actually is a log for Sentinel Dome. :P Unbeatable view from the top - it completes the scene from Glacier Pt but minus the crowds. | |
