Love ptarmigansand never seen one.
Have a question, is the plural for ptarmigans ptarmigan, like it is for sheep?
Thanks for posting Stephen,
Marc

Re: Love ptarmigansHi Marc,
You have me stumped on that one. I don't really know. I did write ptarmigan, rather than ptarmigans, so I take it is pluralised like sheep...... I think!

Re: Love ptarmigansI suppose it might depend on what you shoot them with/for:) I'd suggest ptarmigans for a camera and ptarmigan for a shotgun. As my English grammar should be much better than my vocabulary, Marc, I hope it won't turn into another pot shot of mine :))

Re: Love ptarmigansFunny, I never thought of shooting the little things, pot shot or not. I have no doubt they are delicious, but I would rather just look at them. Don't get me wrong, I am a meat eater. But, I'd rather leave the ptarmigans for the cameras only.
Thanks Jacek,
Marc

I always wonderedwhy "ptarmigans" were not included on Pink
Floyd's "Animals" album. They are truly amazing
birds of a feather.
