Smooth Emerald Milkshake - p1

3-Feb-2007: Smooth Emerald Milkshake (250m, WI4) near Cody, Wyoming. Pitch 1 - a steep curtain seemly rising out of Deer Creek.

Keith led this. It was about 35m to a tree anchor. From there we slogged up the drainage on snow and soloed various short WI2 bulges to the second pitch.
