| Snowshoed up from about 7800' on the road from Spring City, without too much postholing. Trip report. | ||

| apachedino | Camped on North Tent ![]() Date Climbed: May 30, 2012 | |
| Deceded to camp on the nice flat summit of North Tent on a perfectly still night and then had a liesurely stroll to South Tent in the morning. Outstanding sunrise! | ||

| I should have worn more leg protection as this was all bushwhacking. It was a very pretty area and I enjoyed looking at the wild flowers. I'm hoping to get a book to help me identify them next year. Being from Arizona, I not familiar with Utah flora. | ||

| joseyinnet | Hot and humid ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 25, 2012 | |
| Heat, humidity, bushwhacking and flies made this one kind of a miserable slog. Beautiful area though. | ||

| runbyu1 | Up the saddle...no trail. ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 11, 2012 | |
| Went up the saddle between North and South peaks and then proceeded to the top of South Tent. Nice area. In retrospect, I would have went up North Tent first and followed the ridge...likely would've been much easier than all the cross country bushwacking we had to do. Shocked that there is really no trail or marker for the Sanpete County high point! | ||

| strongbadreggie | Two Tents in one night ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 17, 2012 | |
| Climbed North Tent from the North Ridge from Skyline Drive. Continued along the saddle to South Tent. Took the same route back. Much better without fog! | ||

| strongbadreggie | Got stranded.... ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 4, 2011 | |
| Climbed the mountain from the south side of the saddle. Reached the summit as the fog of an approaching blizzard set in. Got lost on the north side in Black Canyon, thinking I was still on the south side at the head of Canal Canyon. Had to make an emergency shelter of pine boughs to keep me and Rocky (my dog) warm for the night. Sanpete County Search and Rescue found me the next afternoon. | ||

| ZeeJay | Mud, mud, and more mud ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 29, 2011 | |
| Took the Ephraim Canyon Road to Skyline Drive. This road is now in excellent shape and is much better than the road from Spring City. The section of Skyline Drive to the base of N Tent was only marginally rutted and for the most part was pretty good and was way better than the section from the top of the Spring City Road to the base of N Tent which looked too rutted for our lowly Subaru when we viewed it last week. However, once things unfroze, it was mud city and we now own the world's dirtiest car. Last week my husband used a snow shovel to get the mud off of our driveway. Tonight he said it was too dark so I guess I see how bad it is tomorrow. For the hike itself, we went over N Tent to S Tent, back to the saddle, descended to the SW, and then traversed around the base of N Tent back to the car. | ||

| harbor | Both tents ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 22, 2011 | |
| This makes UT CoHP #6 for me. Spring City to skyline Friday afternoon. Skyline drive had some really bad mud spots North of the Tents and I parked and tried to summit. I only made it about 20 minutes up the side of N. Tent before the sun started setting because of the extra hour walk. I turned around and went back and slept in the truck. Next morning the mud was frozen over so I made it to the base of N. Tent driving. Walked to the base of the saddle and went up a gully. Hit South first. Then North. Came back down the slope of North. Great beautiful fall morning hike. Took skyline south to the Orangeville turnoff and made it to East Mt. in Emery Co. and summited later in the afternoon. 2 Utah CoHP in 1 day. =) | ||

| Pfeiffer75 | Very nice hike ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 5, 2010 | |
| Climbed to the saddle between north and south tent. Did both peaks. Very easy climb and the views were very nice. Road down Spring City canyon was very dusty but in good shape. Looks like the forest service is in the process of fixing the road | ||

| Moogie737 | Route-finding special ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 22, 2009 | |
| One thing for sure: descriptions of "how to get there" in the two books about Utah County highpoints are grossly out of date. No sign in Spring City, no sign pointing to South Tent Mountain. I found it by asking campers. Interesting markers on top, though. | ||

| rharris | Short Hike ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 12, 2006 | |
| Drove as close as we could, down a side road to the base of South Tent, and then bushwhacked up a steep sort of clearing toward the summit. Great views from the summit, found a large wooden cross up there. Had a nice weekend, did Monument Peak and East Mtn also. | ||
