Our round trip hike took us about 3 hours and 45 minutes. We climbed up the left ridge and came back down ridge one. It was very windy on top and about 48 F. No snow. Access to the trail head is a little tricky.

Day after Thanksgiving. Very nice weather, about 50 F. No snow on the hike. This hike is very underrated. A beautiful view and you can see for miles in all directions. I want to do this hike again.

We too went up one ridge and down the other. We also headed over to the summit of Black Ridge (6738) and then back, about 10 miles total.

I also went up one ridge and down another. I recommend this mountain for the great views of the Oquirrh and Wasatch Mountains. It was a clear day and I could see all the way from Ben Lomond to Mount Nebo. This hike is best done in winter or spring when the higher peaks are snow covered.

With Jun32 before work on a beautiful day. We took the further ridge going up and the other going down. It was steep and a little bushwhacky, but easy. There was a nice game trail on the way down. We enjoyed another fantastic dawn-patrol sunrise. On top in 46 minutes and into work just after 8:00 AM.
4/14/11- I had an hour and was in the area, so I ran up in 38 minutes. The fire really burned everything up there.

I wasn't even aware of this one until I saw the trip report on Eric's page (see below). I went up one ridge and down the other and it looks like there is another ridge that goes directly to the summit as well.

3-9-12 Returned for another hike, part of it in snow. Managed to find a witness marker this time but the main benchmark is probably still buried under the snow. I redid the directions since a few of the streets had names this time around. Hopefully, my directions for getting there will be helpful.
