The southwest face of Leatherman Peak viewed from "Sawmill Pass" (9800'). Notice how rugged the west (left) ridge is, especially towards the top May 20, 2007 Comments[ Post a Comment ] | lcarreau | Hi Dave ... | |
Voted 10/10 | Was just wonderin' if this peak was named after the same person who invented the "Leatherman" knife with all the fancy gadgets on it. Incredible shot ... I LOVE mountains & peaks with a PYRAMID shape!!!

Hasn't voted | Nope Larry, turns out that was a different Leatherman. Its a really cool peak, this kinda dim photo hardly does it justice. Cheers, Dave

Voted 10/10 | Thanks for the 'time line' on the Leatherman. I didn't know it received attention on "X-Files." Awesome. Take care! | | Posted Mar 14, 2008 12:58 pm |
