Step Across on Thunder Mountain
Stepping across the chockstone on the traverse over to Thunder Moutain's summit. I didn't find it to be nearly as airy as advertised... an easy walk over and on the return I even hopped down and walk around the chute underneath.

didn't scare you, I don't know what would!
You have a good head for climbing Chad.
I probably would've straddled the damned chockstone.

Well... the traverse I did just before this scared the bejeezus out of me!

I had taken the wrong route on the approach to the chockstone, and it was beyond scetchy with no room for error... took every bit of concentration I had. Some folks have said this chockstone is exposed, but I guess after the previous three minutes it made this feel like nothing!

Still it isn't as bad as it looks here. On the return I actually downclimbed off it on the left side there and stood underneath. Really steep to either side but I think not fatal (at least not if you manage to fall to the left). I always appreciate your comments Marc. Thanks!
