Strawberry Pinnacles

Strawberry Pinnacles

The Strawberry Pinnacles are located along the Strawberry River about 15 miles downstream from Strawberry Reservoir in Utah. They look like they'd fall over if the wind blows hard. Never the less, if you zoom in on the large one, there appears to be an unnatural white object on the top. From the other side, it looked like there was an unnatural object on the small one as well. Awesome towers ..

The obvious answer to the "unnatural white object" would be to climb to the tower's
summit and validate your observations.

At first perception, I figured it might be
a vulture's egg, but I could be wrong.

Re: Awesome towers ..

You are wrong about it being a vulture's egg as it's way too big for that. Utah has a lot of dinosaur remains so I'm going with dinosaur egg.

I'd say...

it's a satellite dish, dropped off by a helicopter.

Re: I'd say...

I'm going to bring binoculars next time. I think it is possible by a mere mortal to get to the top of the structure at the left edge of the picture. I'll let you know.
