Yes, I know, too much gear. But I am just starting to lead trad climbs. This was a nice 5.7 climb in Diablo canyon, just outside Santa Fe. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Marcsoltan | Don't let anyone... | |
Voted 10/10 | tell you "too much Gear." Put in as much gear as you feel comfortable with.
I like the way you have used slings before the roof.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Mark. This was actually my first trad lead on 5.7. I felt so great afterwards, and actually as the climb went on, I felt better and better.
It is amazing the difference between trad and sport leading... | | Posted Nov 24, 2009 8:44 am |

Voted 10/10 | business how much gear you choose to plug but your own!! Don't feel apologetic -- your lead, your route at the moment, and as long as you don't alter the stone, others can go jump off the cilff with their opinions. Cheers & nice shot Liba. | | Posted Nov 23, 2009 1:28 pm |
