This "peak" is around 10,520'; this view is from the lower end of the upper basin of Kilgore Creek. The standard route up Hoback Peak is via the NE ridge, but is is obvious that some steep scree walking and/or scrambling can get you from here up onto the SE ridge. Wyoming Range, WY-- July 2009
