Sunrise and Dromedary from the east Twin

Sunrise and Dromedary from the east Twin

October 9, 2002. Sunrise is middle-right, Dromedary middle-left. More faintly in the background, right to left, I can make out Hidden Peak, Baldy, Sugarloaf, Devil's Castle, and Monte Cristo, and Sundial Peak is the long cliff face running leftward and downward behind Dromedary.

Nice comparison shot...

Yes, Sean: I have a better understanding of what you've been commenting on. I had NO (previous) idea that the Wasatch Range EXTENDED this far to the east- INCREDIBLE! The Sundial reminds me from something out of the SIERRA NEVADA range. But, probably is less granitic. Did you know there's a small lake located in a glacial cirque beneath South Willow Peak in the Stansbury range? We used to go up there frequently when we were kids - it's at the top of Miners Fork canyon.
YES, scrambling up mountains is pretty exciting - I've been guilty of that type of physical activity on occasion. Good luck on your climbing adventures - I LOVE YOUR PHOTOS! They are very educational! CHEERS!!!
