Nice page Dave! It looks like lots of rime ice at the top, is this common? It's pretty interesting how it forms and I have never seen it out west (Utah) but is standard for the east
Thanks for the vote. I’ve seen this type of ice build up once in a while, but nothing as severe as in your photo. Idaho is generally pretty low humidity, to that probably lessens our chances of having as much of it. Thanks again, Dave
Thanks for the vote Sean. This was that same day we were talking about doing something in the Galena area. Decided that with all the storms going around, an hour and a half drive would be less risk than a four hour drive. The weather wasn’t really that bad, clouds above and below, but fairly clear in between. So how’s it going on settling in with those classes?
Classes? Oh boy, they certainly take up a lot of time. But I got out yesterday near Idaho City and recharged my batteries so am ready for my first set of exams coming up. How is your new child? Boy? Girl?
