The Asselstein as seen from the Ebersberg mountain

Between a deep and wild flora, this is a picturesque view on the Asselstein, which was taken from the neary Ebersberg mountain. The foliage is very dens, so that's why the view is not very extended ! The Asselstein is a perfect site, for establishing a solid base of climbing and bouldering ! In the Annweiler region, is the Asselstein considerated as the most famous climbing rock ... Normal, because the site is very easy to access and to be approaching ! Equally, the Asselstein is one of the palatinian rocks, which was climbed for the first time, before the year 1900 ... And this, only with the help of falling trees and wood ladders ! Actually, the Asselstein is counting almost hundred of climbing roads, with difficulties levels situated between 2 and 9+ ! Not bad, no ?
