Solo Flight

An absolutely incredible ascent. For the most part, the route was very easy to figure out. Gerry Roach's description in his book, Colorado's Indian Peaks: Classic Hikes and Climbs was extremely helpful. However, the Class 4 crux is very difficult to find. This move is a downclimb and was not very well marked. We hunted for 45 minutes to an hour to find the least technical move. It was frustrating to know that there was a relatively easy move, in sight of the summit and not be able to find it.
