Hi Johnnie,
I am never really sure how to contact the Elves. LOL.
Maybe they hide in a little secret control centre. If you know how to contact them maybe you can tell me.
Thank you for taking a look at the page as I tried a lot of new methods concerning the HTML layout of the page which was not easy.
David.
I never looked for this and would probably never have stumbled upon it had it not been on the main page. I spent a fair amount of time on the Island climbing, hiking and mucking about as I have an aunt who move there from Belgium. Lovely place, well worth a visit!
For those that go, I can also highly recommend Holy Island, a smaller island just of the coast of Arran, inhabited by Budhist monks. A quiet and beatiful place.
Hi Wouter,
thanks for your very positive comments. Your aunt is very lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful island.
I've not been to Holy Island, I've only seen it from afar, I guess it it an ideal place for solitude and peace.
cheers Johnnie
I was only once on Arran and still regret not having been deeper in the mountains. That was just prior to the birth of my craze for Munros...
I didn't know the island had such boulders like the grey old man, they remind me somehow of the Polish Karkonosze
Great page on a wonderful area. Sorry to nit pick but I think Goat Fell is a tad higher than quoted in the first instance and correct in the second (874m)... but that shouldn't disract from a cracking page. Cheers lads, Simnel.
Hi Guys,
thanks for your comments. I took a look at your, Karkonosze page Visentin and the area described looks brilliant.
Thanks to Simnel for pointing out the height anomoly, I've corrected it now.
cheers Johnnie
