The Silberpfennig (2600m)

Seen from the Zittrauer Tisch. The Silberpfennig, it's name meaning "silver penny", was in earlier centuries a place of intensive silver mining. To this day one can see the traces of this activity on both sides of the mountain - one cannot possibly miss the heaps of pitch black slack left behind by the miners a long time ago.
