The upper falls of Depot Creek Falls. It takes a good twenty minutes to hike up to this point from the base of the falls. Then you have to go right a short distance off-trail through a band of trees to open up the view. Interestingly, the falls plummet off the headwall through a sideways canyon before turning left to head straight down the slabby slope. The noise is deafening. August 2, 2004. |
