The western side of Montaz | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The western side of Montaz / Iof di Montasio. Some main features are named and also parts of walls and ridges where easy climbs go. Marked is only the 'Great Ledge' (Grande Cengia), which crosses the whole western wall and you'll also find marks in Findenegg couloir.
Notice that this is only the very upper part - Grande Cengia goes on the altitude of some 2400m. Below are the huge walls (another 1000m-1400m) down to Clapadorie gorge. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | vvujisic | Magnificent! | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks, Vlado! I'd like to know more features of this mountain. For example the ravine righjt of Findenegg. Kugy says there go also easy climbing routes up. | | Posted Jun 20, 2007 6:24 am |

Voted 10/10 | This year I'll probably do this route, every time I planned it the weather was bad or something else happened. Montasio has still many secrets hidden, it's really a wild mountain.
