Rare view of Bell Rock from the southeast, showing the summit spire that many have seen, but very few have succeeded in climbing. Will hikers and climbers ever get along with each other on Summitpost, like brothers and sisters at play? Probably not ... March 11, 2010

Not bad...

At first I did not see it but then with a little imagination I finally saw the bells. All your beautiful pictures of the desert make me think that I might just have to leave the mountains and absorb a different kind of adventure in the near by future. Keep up the great shots Larry. -TDT-

It would probably be difficult for you to
trade snow for rocks. I know it was difficult for me when I moved to AZ in 1991.

But, somehow I got used to all the rocks!
