If coming from the East, follow the directions on the main page. From the parking area, continue up the road until a fork is reached after a short distance. Turn left here, and continue a short distance. Before crossing a stream (Deep Creek), turn right and go uphill cross country. There may be some mining roads to follow, but in general, head uphill and northwest. Once the top of the hill is reached (marked as "5541" on the USGS 7.5' topo), look to the west. The high point should be fairly obvious. Hike cross country for about a mile and a quarter and you're there. It may also be reach from the southwest by following the directions on the main page and then hiking uphill, but I haven't tried it myself.
Sunscreen and water.
