Nice work yet again. I was wondering about this area. I left the Mount Forgotten trail last spring and wandered around in this area but didn't get any of the views that are in your photos. Another great addition to The Mountain Loop Area.
Your write-up states 5840+ for the west summit but nowhere on the map is there a 5840 contour. If the west summit is higher than the east summit, it's only a couple of feet higher. The jury is out on which is actually higher. See the caption here.
