I was in that partof the world for nearly one month.
I married my wife on Leyte in the Philippines!
I can see where the winter would be a great time to visit, right after Typhoon Season.

Re: I was in that partThanks Larry! My dad was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. That is where he met my mom. They also lived in the Philippines and several other places before I was born.
I would say that winter is the best time to visit Thailand. It's hot during other times of the year and most people can’t take the heat. This also avoids the typhoon season where it rains almost every day.
