| Kenosha was peak #12 of 14 as part of a huge loop hike with a big group. Very indistinct summit. See TR. | |

| From the Ben Tyler TH on 285, this is a very long approach on a slow, rough trail with a lot of elevation to gain (~4000 ft) for a 12er. The peak is rather non-descript, and, without a detailed topo, I would not have known I was on it. A T-storm began to form while I was on the summit plateau, so I headed north and eventually picked up the trail back to the car. | |

| We enjoyed a wonderful autumn hike. The wind was brisk, the air crisp, the sky bright blue. We encountered a lot less snow than we would like to see this time of year. Beautiful day. Hiking companion: Husband. Dogs: Lady, Bing & Lela. | |
