Classic lines.

A classic Rocky Mtn. striation of sedimentary layers. Interesting how little of this is in the Sierra.

Re: Classic lines.

Totally agree with your observation. But, I can't think of a place in the Sierras that offer sedimentary rocks like these. You know the Sierras very well. Where have you seen this kind of layering?

Re: wow

It really is a beautiful mountain, especially with the snow on it.

Another winner ..

Marc, I believe you should be spending more
of your time taking beautiful pictures.

If my wife caught me taking this many pictures,
she would surely wonder why I'm not paying
more attention to her own comfort and well-being; and I'd be at RISK of spending
another sleepless night on the couch.

Re: Another winner ..

Another winner? Thank you so much, Larry. But, I can't figure out what I've won. This photo didn't even get POTD. As far as so many photos goes, If I had to pay a nickel for every photo, I'd probably shoot a lot fewer. Digital photos cost nothing, and my wife isn't about to kick me out, or even make me spend another sleepless night on the couch.

Re: Another winner ..

What about TIME?

Time is a precious commodity we all can afford, yet it always seems to slip away in
the snapping of a shutter, within the
camera's eye.

How can a person BUY more time, in order to have more FREE time to take better and
bigger pictures ???

My time always seems to be filled with other
people telling me how to spend my time.

: ))

Time is what we all need more of.
