Happy New YearNice shot Marc. With temps here in Utah at 5 degrees right now, I am happy to be indoors. Of course, I wouldn't mind being in Santa Barbara right about now (I grew up 100 miles south in the San Fernando Valley. It snowed twice on us when I lived there. I was in Ventura for a few days back in September (my wifes aunt & uncle live there)

Re: Happy New YearHappy New Year to you Dean.
I know all about Utah's 5F temps now. My wife and I just got back from Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and Zion NP. One morning we started our hike before dawn to catch the sunrise on Delicate Arch. The temps were 8F. It was bone chilling cold, and we hiked so fast to warm up and we did. But the trail near the top was all ice on rock and a bit scary. When we got there we found eleven Japanies tourists in tennis shoes waiting for the sun to to come up.
Great trip, brought back tons of photos. We're heading for the Sierras to ski this afternoon.
Have a great one Dean,
Marc
