Re: AAAYes, though I think there are two, and this is probably the "less pronounced" one. The one that had the most exposure did a traverse around the right side of a tower. This one is more photogenic though!

Re: Alps...Haha! Well you can see how I came to my ill-broadcast opinion with this picture! The day before we traversed the peak behind me to the left, the Obergabelhorn. So this picture is special because it shows 2+ days of incredible fun on high rocks and snow...

A great shot! When were you there? I was at the Cabane du Grand Mountet on July 15th and 16th...

Re: A great shot! This trip was July 14 to 17, and this picture was on the 16th! We were also thinking of going to your Cabane by traversing Zinalrothorn off to the Northwest, but there was a plane to catch on the 17th so we got conservative. Really cool you were around...great weather those days, eh?

Re: A great shot!Yes, at least for those two days, July 15th and 16th, the weather was fantastic! The days before and after were not so good...Seems like we just barely missed each other!! You were probably on the summit of Zinalrothorn just as I was as close by as this!
Cheers,
Eric

Re: A great shot!I think you are almost exactly correct. I know we were on the summit by 11 am. Nice to "bump into you," after the fact :D.

Re: A great shot!+1! It was a short weather window, really...but we were all in place to enjoy it, that is half the battle :).

OxygenThe scene, position and depth fill me with oxygenated air, as if I were there.
Would have been all the better if the subject's face is visible - adds presence.
