So, I've been hiking, backpacking etc. basically since I can remember :) I also have some (very limited, to be honest) experience in mountaineering: I know Tatra Mountains quite well (both Polish and Slovak side -- that's where I grew up), did two four-thousanders in Alps (I mean metric four-thousanders :) ) i.e. Breithorn and Dufourspitze, recently climbed volcanoes in Chile, explored Julian Alps in former Yugoslavia etc. In California I summited Mt. Shasta (April), did some backpacking in Yosemite (May) -- and, of course, I do hikes in the nearby Santa Ynes/San Rafael ranges almost every weekend. I'm interested in some light mountaineering (up to, say, III Alpine grade), in the course of the next 10-12 months I'd like to climb Mt. Whitney (in the Fall, once it's not too crowded), Mt. Williamson (Spring 2009), Mt. Sill, Mt. Russell (perhaps even this September), Split Mt. etc.
