A Few Words: I went walking in the mountains since I can remember. When I was young it was most of the time together with my dad in the Ötztal valley. We stayed in the village of Längenfeld (Ötztal) year after year, in the same pension. In the summer of 2008, me and a good friend (and neighbour) Floris took up the idea to go and do some more challenging tours. We stayed at the Ötztaler Naturcamping in Huben (Ötztal), a very nice place to built up your 'base camp'. In that first year we tried the Wildspitze with a guide, but we failed because of bad weather and frightened people in our group. Next year we combined the Mainzer Höhenweg with the ascend of the Wildspitze together with our guide 'Raini'. Last summer (2010) we again went to the Ötztaler Alps to make several tours. This year the eyecatcher was the Weißkugel from the Brandenburger Haus, again together with Raini. For next year there is no planned program. I'm thinking about taking a c2 course or going to France and do the Mont Blanc du Tacul, Mont Maudit and Mont Blanc in one tour together with a collegue (I work in an outdoor shop). I'll just see which summits lie in front of me...
