View of the Mont Blanc range from col Chavannes (2603 m), near the head of val Veny. Behind the spur of Aiguille de Combal, one can recognize:

• the ridge of Brouillard including: Punta Luigi Amedeo, Mont Brouillard, Punta Baretti, Aiguilles Rouges de Brouillard
• the ridge of Innominata including: Pic Eccles, Punta Innominata, Aiguille Joseph Croux
• the ridge of Peuterey including: Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey, Punta Gugliermina, les Dames Anglaises, Aiguille Noir de Peuterey, Mont Rouge de Peuterey
• In the far background one can distinguish also Dent du Géant and Rochefort ridge.
