The mass of volcanic rock known as The Needles Eye that stands exposed at the summits southern end.

25 years ago as a kid I scrambled around on these rocks. My aunt and uncle had a farm at the base. Thanks for bringing back the memories. I'll have to revisit next time I'm in England.

That is great to know. The Wrekin deserves its attention. I played around on them rocks many times in my child hood at boarding school.
