The climber is at the first bolt, the easy start is to the belayers left and the 5.9 start to her right. She is on the ledge above the climbers trail, the climbers on the left are on top of lunch rock. Maddi on Skyline Arete as seen from lunch rock.

Just to the right of lunch rock. Skyline Arête is a 5.8 sport lead with alternate starts. From the climbers trail make you way up to a large ledge, either walk up there from the right side, or climb up to lengthen this short route. Once on the ledge go left into an easily protected (trad) crack start, or right to an overhung easily protected (trad) 5.9- start. Work you way to the middle of the very narrow ledge and the first bolt. Good hands and straight forward face climbing will bring you up to the rap rings on a big flat area and a walk off on the back.

Skyline AreteThe climber is passing the third bolt and is one move from the top of the route
