Re: I remember this one...

Thanks Dean. Looks alot different that it did when we were up there. Those trees we went through on the ridge above the lake to get to Little Water were thick. I think it would be a much easier hike in the winter

Re: I remember this one...

Actually, I DON'T remember this one.

What are the rules for dogs at Dog Lake? Can you bring your
best friend with you ???

Ever notice how often people will tell you how NICE their dog is? "Sure, you can pet my dog. My dog would NEVER bite anybody."

Re: I remember this one...

The rules? Ok, I'm going to get on my soapbox for a minute. Bear with me. You come up to the lake form the Big Cottonwood Canyon side, no dogs allowed. If you come up from the Millcreek Canyon side, on odd days, dogs are cool. So, if you're at the lake with your dog, and someone of importance asks why your dog is there, just say,"Oh, I came up from the Millcreek side." but, make sure it's an odd day. SLC watershed rules drive me nuts!

Re: I remember this one...

Sorry for asking, but thanks for the answer.

I can see where this would be rather confusing, especially for an "outta stater flat-lander type" like me.

How about if you have an ODD BREED of dog, and bring it up
the BCC side on a Tuesday afternoon in July ???

Re: I remember this one...

Ha! Only you could come up with that Larry! I haven't thought about it as deeply as you. But, you made me laugh, so thanks!
