On the lower slopes you find...
On the lower slopes you find lots of mushrooms. This one - of course - is poisonous. Though it might look like straight out of a children's book, it's real nevertheless ;-)

Thanks, Paul. It's a Fly Agaric Mushroom. They cause hallucinations, which is why they are used ys a special kind of drug in certain remote places in Siberia. Don't ask for details - they are disgusting (hint: they include vomiting and....).

Check out this site for info on the Fly Agaric. It's not actually poisonous, per se - and does cause some mild hallucinations. Used properly, nausea and vomiting don't usually occur.

I think its true value, still, is in its absolutely charming beauty!
