The concept of Refuge Serra Fina was born of the experience of its owner as a climber and a chef. The inn offers lodging, food, hiking, mountain sports and adventure in the same space. Situated in prime location at the foot of Sierra Fina, at 1.450 meters of altitude, and fully integrated with nature, the Sierra Fina Refuge is a place for you to feed your body and soul.
Implanted with respect to nature, conservation, in an area of 270.000m², it has close by waterfalls, fresh water suply, organic gardening, native forest with majestic pines and in therms of wildlife, it can be spotted toucans, siriemas, guan, parrots, snakes among others.
A true haven of peace and tranquility that nestles both those returning from a nice walk, just as those who prefer to relax on the deck enjoying the beautiful Sierra Fina view, and breathing the fresh mountain air.

The hut fits up to 50 people.

Getting there

Coming from Sao Paulo (SP) or Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

Exit at km 34 of the Presidente Dutra Highway and follow towards Passa Quatro city. After about 8 km from the end of the ascent of the mountain, before the main entrance of the town there is a shamrock country club, between km 23 and 22, at right. This is a factory called Polpack. Enter the turn towards the neighborhood of Quilombo, take the dirt road 7kms up. The road has signs to reach the hut.

Coming from Belo Horizonte (MG)

Take the Fernão Dias highway and exit at Três Corações junction towards São Lourenço. After São Lourenço keep on the road towards Itamonte. Before arriving in Itamonte there is junction in the city of Capivari that indicates Passa Quatro city at right. After 2kms go left on a new junction where is th same factory, Polpack. Follow toward the neighborhood of Quilombo, take the dirt road 7km up. The road has signs to reach the hut.

Observations:
. On weekends they only accept bookings for two nights in suites
. Special prices for groups. Contact the hut.
. Valid daily from 17h to 17h. Changes in the schedule of check in and check out upon request.
. High season: December to March and May to September.
. Low Season: March to May and September to December.
. The Refuge has its own parking.
. The hut offers transport to Sierra Fina Traverse (starting point and ending point). Value and availability on request.
 
Packed schedules:
- Breakfast - 07:30h to 10:00h *;
- Lunch - 12:30h to 14:30h *;
- Dinner - 19:30h to 21:30h *;
* The timing of meals will differ only on special occasions or when groups agreed in advance.

Reservation Policy

>The Refuge Sierra Fina ensure the desired accommodation only with advance reservation by deposit of 50% of the ammount required.
>In case of cancellation of booking, the guest will be refunded as follows:
- With advance notice of cancellation not less than 10 days - 100% of the value.
- Notification of cancellation in advance between 4 and 9 days - 50% of value.
- Cancellation notice in advance or less than 3 days - no refund, or credit for use in 30 days (and addiction vacancies except holidays)
- Dropped in the middle of the tour, implies the full payment of the service.
At the moment the hut do not accept credit cards.
The hut cannot accept pets along with guests
