Water Strider

I couldn't find any pictures of a water strider on SP, so I decided that there should be one. They don't like to stand still. This one did, long enough to make a ripple (visible in picture) and let me take a shot. Photo taken on the Bloom Creek Section #4 of the Ozark Trail, east of the Current River, in a beautiful but tick-infested May, 2008.
