West Arete approach: From the divide, traverse a mile and a half under the Eldorado Glacier toward the saddle right of The Triad. If you squint at a tiny snowpatch just R of the photo's center you might see a black speck. That's Brian and Marie trudging toward camp after a long hike up from the car.
