Re: Wow!Thanks ... glad you like it. Since he was only about 2 feet long and can only strike about two thirds of his length, I took the picture from about 4 feet away.

Really good point !!!The snakes were probably there first.
I see them all the time here in central
Arizona. We have a good relationship:
I don't bother them, and they don't
bother me! The one's I see are the
"coon-tails" or Diamondback variety.
There's even a ball club in Phoenix
named after them. I think they might be
EXPANDING their range, because I've seen
them as far north as northern Utah!
