White Oak Canyon in Stanley Virginia was the destination my wife chose for her birthday. Our knowledge of the canyon was limited, which lead to a very pleasant surprise. The sound of water is never too far,as you descend 2500 feet into the blue canyon. For the amount of exertion, this trail gives back alot, with it's numerous cascades, sylvan charm, and grand walls.
