| i.e. from Mittelbergjoch (3,166 m); great ski tour with Jessica; 2,5 hours; beautiful weather; beautiful scenery (little snow this year, so the icefalls were even more impressive than previously); didn't use a rope; used crampons for the final ascent to the summit; tricky passage just below the summit | |

| Starting Vent - cable car- and Breslauer Hütte via the Mitterkarjoch. Mitterkarjoch was a little crowded. We reached the top about 3 o'clock. Long tour. It was exhausting. But we have done it. | |

| As dalton1 said it wasn't the best day to climb Wildspitze, but we started it finally at 3:30 in the morning from Vent:) I would rather say it was mainly the ice which made the climbing difficulty, because the past few days were very cold a foggy. When we reached the ridge the wind made the climbing also much difficult. We could only see about 5-7 meters forward nothing more. We stayed only a few minutes on the top, but we were there! | |

| Climbed in extreme weather conditions with my father and a friend of mine from Vent in one day. We started our juorney at 3:30am and got back to Breslauer Hütte at about 2pm and to Vent at 4pm. It was a 12,5 hour tour, our second glacier tour. We drank some bier at Breslauer Hütte, a beautiful hungarian girl is working there...:) The weather was absolutelly bad..."Fucking wind..." as an american said...and fog and cold and many snow all the way...despite all this there where many who climbed it that day. Polish, german, austrian, hungarian, ect. Wonderful view north from Mitterkarjoch! Great and tiring climb on a magnificent mountain!!! | |

| Perfect day for ski touring in July. New snow from thunderstorms the day before. Long hike up, short ski descent back to Mittelbergjoch. Solo - but met a bunch of others. | |

| Started snowing upon leaving Vent, route past Breslauer Hutte and up Mitterkarferner to Mitterkarjoch. Across Taschachferner and upto summit. Visibility for whole climb was poor with high winds especially on the last ascent to the summit. An enjoyable climb although pity about the view from the top (or lack of it). Summitted at 12.15pm. | ||

| My first ski tour after the summer with my daughter. We used the cable car to Hinterer Brunnenkogel because the Mittelberg Ferner (glacier) skilift was not working. We reached the Mittelberg Joch by skiing a steep gully on the east face of the Brunnenkogel. My daughter, 12 years old was roped to get down this icy couloir. The Taschach Ferner (glacier) on the other side was easy to get up. We leaved the skis at 3700 meters. The final part was not icy and we neaded no crampons. The last meters were an easy but impressive climb over dry rocks. We reached the summit at 2 p.m. On the descent, the snow was somewhat crusty. Number of summitters on Wildspitze this day : 5. | |

| It was my second attempt. A dream is realy! The snow was good in the morning and we reached the summit at 10 a.m. We had very nice weather on the summit. | |
